MISSION STATEMENT

Our collective mission here at Aisling O’Brien Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries is to work together as a team to make our patients feel safe and welcome in our practice, to provide them with an optimum patient experience and level of care.  Utilising evidence based assessment and treatment techniques we will soon have you on the road to recovery. Using easily understandable language, we will educate our clients on the cause of their problem and, where possible, encourage self-management. We believe in a personal approach to your diagnosis and treatment with “hands on” physiotherapy.Our team are specialists in the diagnosis of musculo-skeletal, orthopaedic (pre and post op), exercise prescription, neurological and spinal conditions and mens health.  Our primary goal is to provide a unique patient centred care package resulting in a quick return to function and long term advice and exercise  to ensure the issue is fully resolved.

Our Physiotherapist have a wealth of experience in both the NHS, HSE and Private practice. They are vastly experienced in assessing, diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries.

The practice treats a wide range of injuries including shoulder injuries, tennis elbow, hip, back and neck pain, sciatica, knee and foot injuries, biomechanical dysfunction, paediatrics  pre and post surgical management and much more.

Dry Needling, also known as Trigger Point Needling, is an effective and efficient technique for the treatment of myofascial pain and dysfunction.

Electrotherapy
Tissue relaxation and Scar tissue breakdown

Ultrasound is applied using the head of an ultrasound probe that is placed in direct contact with your skin via a transmission coupling gel.

TREATMENT PRICE LIST

Adults Initial Consultation fee €50
Your initial Physiotherapy assessment will take 45-60 minutes.

During which time you will be taking through a through Subjective and Objective examination followed by a Diagnosis or your injury.

Your Physiotherapist will commence treatment  on the same day and issue you a treatment plan.

This plan will include your expected recovery and exercise prescription

Manual therapy, kinesiology taping, dry needling and all other interventions are included in this fee.

Adults Secondary Consultations €50
Follow up appointments will take 45 minutes with your physiotherapist.

Your progress will be reassessment and treatment will be altered and administered based on changes to the subjective and objective assessment

Minors/ Under 18 Consultation fee €40
For both Initial and follow up treatments

Initial appointments will take 45-60 minutes and follow up appointments 45mins

Aisling is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. She gained her primary degree from the University of Bradford. Subsequent to this Aisling has completed a Diploma Orthopeadic Medicine in NUI Galway and MedSc Sports Medicine and Exercise University College Cork.
