Orthotics are specific foot orthoses which are used to help in the management of a range of injuries from plantarfascitis, flat feet, knee pain, hip pain and bunions. At Aisling O’Brien Physiotherapy and Sports injuries we are partnered with PPL Bio mechanics in Cork. All of our physiotherapists have under gone extensive training on the bio mechanics assessment of foot position and movement patterns.

 Orthotics range from shorten term non prescription devices which start at €15 to custom made prescription orthotics which range up to €300.

 We provide expert advice on the use of the device and a comprehensive strengthening program to address any secondary muscular weakness which may have resulted from poor foot bio mechanics.
